Mid Missouri Ecovillage
Welcome to the effort to start a new community for eco living in mid Missouri. If you are drawn to walkable neighborhoods filled with diverse local plants and community resources available, you may have found your place. Eco villages are people and planet centered places that bring back the old village feel to the modern world. The stronger the community gets, the greater impact for positive changes to the surrounding towns we will have.

Ecovillages are community focused and known for having a smaller carbon footprint than traditional development. With each ecovillage created, the surrounding areas are positively impacted by showing local municipalities how sustainable new developments can be.
​Our Ever Growing Vision
The ecovillage will consist of smaller footprint homes, multifamily housing, tiny homes, homes built with natural materials, and greater energy efficiency materials in the homes. Containing a multi-use roadway in the center and parking on the outskirts, pedestrian comfort and safety will take priority. Community held resources such as tool share, composting, and recycling, create lower costs and ecological impact.
